The Saints have won only one out of four games in 2023 and are desperately looking for a victory on Wednesday night

Lost. Won. Lost. Drew.

That's the summary of Paris Saint-Germain's year 2023 in Ligue 1 so far, which has caused a lot of headaches for Christophe Gaultier. Anyway, he's got no time left to lose, as the Saints face Montpellier on Wednesday night. They are desperately looking for a victory which could get them back on track and save their spot at the summit. However, they'll have to do it without two of their very important players - Neymar and Marco Verratti.

The Brazilian forward suffered from muscular fatigue, which had kept him out of yesterday's training session. Hugo Ekitike will take up his spot in the frontline. On the other hand, Verratti was sent off for a dangerous challenge in a 1-1 draw against Reims.
