Xavi's side beats Real Madrid 3-0 in a friendly played in Dallas

You don't mess around with Xavi and the boys, do you? Appears - not. The reigning La Liga champion bounced back after a defeat to Arsenal and dismantled their archrival Real Madrid 3-0 in El Clasico friendly played in Dallas on the night between Saturday and Sunday Nairobi time.

It was a very feisty affair, with several strong tackles from both sides. Barcelona felt more comfortable in such surroundings and rushed straight from the start to grab a win that would boost their morale before the beginning of the season.

A set-pieces routine between Gundogan and Pedri allowed Ousmane Dembele time inside the box, and he finished it smoothly to put the ball behind Thibaut Courtois for 1-0.

It could have actually gone the other way if it weren't for Vinicius Jr, who missed a penalty, thus hitting a crossbar before his teammates hit the woodwork twice more in quick succession.

Like many times before, those sitters were punished severely with two more goals in the back of Los Blancos' net. First, youngster Fermin Lopez nailed it superbly and then assisted Ferran Torres very late to seal a remarkable 3-0 victory against the Blaugrana's nemesis.
