Ambani can now afford a smile after the return of vice captain Kayci Odhiambo, his defensive partner Emmanuel Lwangu, goalkeeper Humphrey Katasi, and winger Julius Masaba.
Odhiambo, a central defender who can also slot in midfield, had been out nursing a foot injury.
Lwangu, on the other hand, had been nursing an ankle injury that got worse during their 4-1 loss to Mathare United.
First-choice goalkeeper Katasi, on his part, limped off the team’s 1-0 defeat to KCB on 26 February due to a hamstring injury.
Ugandan James Ssetuba has been doing business in between the sticks since then.
Former Kariobangi Sharks winger Masaba is, in the meantime, back after recovering from a knee injury.
The four players were part of Ingwe friendly matches against Lavington Sportiff and National Super League (NSL) side 3K FC, getting crucial minutes under their belts.
However, while Odhiambo, Lwangu and Katasi are in contention to start Ingwe’s next match against Police FC on Saturday, 18 April at the Nyayo National Stadium, Masaba will be subjected to a late fitness test to determine his suitability for the match.
