Mozzart Bet Cup defending champions Nairobi United have received a major boost ahead of their upcoming FKF Premier League match against Kakamega Homeboyz after confirming the return of three key players from injury.

The league's newbies have suffered an injury crisis recently, with several players forced on the sidelines, halting their preparations and performances.
Ahead of their Wednesday, 8 April, clash against Homeboyz at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, Naibois, through assistant coach Sadique Ambani, have confirmed the return of Kenya internationals Ovella Ochieng, Benson Omalla and defender Yusuf Mainge.
“We are delighted to welcome back Ovella and Mainge. Omalla also had a knock but has since recovered, and I can say that we now have a full house,” said Ambani.
The assistant coach also took time to appreciate the efforts put in by his team in their last match, a convincing 3-0 win over Shabana FC.
“We pushed our opponents in our last match, and the boys have prepared well for the upcoming match as well,” he stated.
The tactician also exuded confidence in the team's ability to secure maximum points against the Mozzart Bet-sponsored outfit following optimum recovery and preparation for the match.
“We always prepare every battle as usual, and we are happy with how the boys have trained since our last match,” he added.

Ahead of the encounter, Homeboyz sit third on the log standings with 43 points to their name and in fine form, having won their previous two matches against Posta Rangers and Mathare United respectively, while keeping clean sheets.
Naibois, on the other hand, are seventh on the league table with 38 points and managed to end their four-match winless streak with their 3-0 win over Shabana.
With the two teams full of confidence ahead of the Wednesday afternoon clash, the match promises to produce fireworks as the league homestretch continues.
