Imbusia is available for selection against Nairobi City Stars.
Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side, Sofapaka has been boosted by the return of winger Alex Imbusia ahead of Monday’s league match against Nairobi City Stars.
The speedster has not featured for the club since March after sustaining a foot injury. He missed Sofapaka’s matches against Wazito FC and Gor Mahia as he slowly recovered from the setback.
The club has now announced that the former Vihiga United man who joined Batoto ba Mungu in January has managed to shake off the injury and is now available for Monday’s showdown.

"The club has been boosted by the timely return of Alex Imbusia. The winger has fully recovered from a foot injury,” the club said in a statement.
Batoto ba Mungu head coach Ken Odhiambo is happy to have the winger back in contention for selection. Bernard Muiruri still remains sidelined and so is young keeper Simon Masaka who has been diagnosed with Malaria.
“We are glad to have Alex Imbusia back after a foot injury setback. Youngster Benard Muiruri will miss the tie yet again as he continues with his recovery so will be Simon Masaka who has been taken ill due to malaria,” he told the club website.
The 2009 champions are 10th in the table with 19 points after 16 rounds of league matches. City Stars on the other hand are 13th with 17 points. When the two teams met in the first leg in Wundanyi, a solo goal from Ambrose Sifuna settled the match in Sofapaka’s favour.
