Milan Skriniar of Inter attracted the interests of both Chelsea and the Saints, so a lucrative transfer is just around the corner for the Slovakian defender

Only the sky is the limit! At least when it comes to the international football market, with transfer fees reaching unprecedented levels.

Every once in a while, we hear news about some almost anonymous player being shipped to another club for not less than 30,000,000 million euros.

And Milan Skriniar - who's not anonymous, though, but a solid Serie A defender - is about to make this trend even more blatant. The 27-year-old Inter Milan defender is about to join Paris Saint-Germain for a ludicrously high 65,000,000 euros, L'Equipe reports on Wednesday!

Apparently, the Slovakian player has chosen PSG over Chelsea. Despite Skriniar having only one year to run on his current deal in Serie A, the Italian club had initially asked for €80m to allow the player to leave. Having finally lowered their sky-high demands after a meeting yesterday, Inter and buyers PSG are now expected to conclude a deal.

The defender, however, had been weighing up offers from both Paris and Chelsea before finally deciding to join PSG, while Inter had hoped to extend the player's deal earlier in the summer despite being outbid on salary by the Saints at the end of last season.
