Mauritania international Almike Moussa N'Diaye is lucky he survived a savage attempt of a challenge by Olympique de Marseille's Eric Bailly. Today, Manchester United's Ivorian, who is playing for OM on loan, visited the FC Hyeres' unlucky midfielder in the hospital and offered his apologies.

Bailly went to see N'Diaye, who remains in a hospital near Marseille following their nasty coming together during the weekend.

A quarter of an hour into the game, as Moussa was going on the counter-attack, he was stopped by Bailly's kung-fu kick, his crampons at chest level. The Spain-born N'Diaye has sustained several broken ribs and is still experiencing lung and liver pain.

Still, it was a nice gesture from the Ivorian to pay a visit to his injured opponent and ask for forgiveness for his moment of madness. Thankfully, nobody was killed - even though the video of the incident will make you believe N'Diaye was in grave danger.
