Guirassy's release clause confirmed - 'only' €20,000,000!
Serhou Guirassy (27) is currently playing the football of a lifetime and will undoubtedly bring a career transfer to the excellent striker. Today, the buyout clause for the Bundesliga's top scorer was announced, which will amount to 20,000,000 euros in January, as previously assumed, so the "hunting season" for Stuttgart's goal scorer was officially opened in this way.
The mentioned amount is easily achievable for all interested clubs, so in the next two and a half months we will see an extraordinary battle of the European giants for Guirassy's signature. Tottenham see him as an ideal replacement for Harry Kane, but there are also Arsenal and Chelsea. In any case, the more than acceptable price will bring many clubs into the game, and in the end only Guirassy will profit.
However, according to information from the German Sky, the player wants to finish the season at the MHPArena, but it remains to be seen whether he will be able to resist lucrative offers regarding personal income.

However, currently no intention of leaving Stuttgart in winter.

Especially since Sky states that the winter clause is more favorable than the one that will be in place in the summer, so everyone will want to finish the job in January.
"I'm only good thanks to the team, so I'm grateful to them. I feel very comfortable at the club and I love the great fans. I think that's the secret of my success. I feel very good at the moment," said Guirassy, who is expected to commit to the Cup of African Nations in January with his Guinea.
The same cannot be said for Stuttgart, which have no instrument to prevent the departure of the French goalscorer. The popular Swabians are in second place in the Bundesliga after eight rounds played, with an outstanding performance of seven wins and one loss, and Guirassy has scored an incredible 14 goals.
Admittedly, the administration of Stuttgart is working hard on a solution to the player's unfavorable clause. The option is some kind of buyout of the clause or an increase in its amount. In return, Guirassy would receive a higher salary at the club or be involved in a potential transfer in some way.
Guirassy signed for the Swabians this summer, after a loan from Rennes, and Stuttgart paid a compensation of 10,000,000 euros. However, the signing of the contract was only possible with the inclusion of exit clauses, as at that time it was not clear whether Stuttgart would survive in the Bundesliga. Some clubs from the Premier League, as well as the Dutch Ajax, tried to activate the clauses last summer, but the player consciously decided to stay.
Sky writes that it is highly likely that Guirassy will leave Stuttgart next summer, but it is clear that the situation could change in the winter.
