Nairobi United will learn their opponents for the CAF Confederation Cup group stage during the CAF inter-club group stage Draw on Monday, 3 November 2025.
The draw will be held at the studios of CAF broadcast partner SuperSport in Johannesburg, South Africa, starting at 2 PM EAT for the Confederation Cup.

Later on, the draw for the CAF Champions League will take place at 3 PM.

The Naibois have been placed in pot four alongside Azam FC (Tanzania), ZESCO United (Zambia), San Pedro (Ivory Coast), Singida Black Stars (Tanzania), and Olympique de Safi (Morocco).
With all second-leg ties across Africa now concluded, the 16 clubs advancing to the group stages of each competition are confirmed.
Nairobi United secured their historic group stage spot on their debut appearance by defeating Tunisian side Étoile Sportive du Sahel 7-6 on penalties, following a 2-0 loss in Sousse on 26 October that, tied the aggregate score 2-2. In the second leg,
Étoile got their goals through Mohamed Ryan Anen, who struck five minutes into the second half, and again deep into stoppage time.
United’s defense, marshaled by Lennox Ogutu and John Otieno, held firm, while attacking efforts from Duncan Omalla, Ovella Ochieng, and Michael Karamor were repeatedly blocked.
The tie was ultimately decided in a dramatic penalty shootout with goalkeeper Kevin Oduor saving two penalties and converting the decisive spot kick to secure a 7-6 victory.
United’s progression comes with a financial reward of Ksh 51 million (USD 350,000) from CAF.
