Bullets will be out to overturn the result in the return leg set for 30 September in Lubumbashi
Kenyan defender Clyde Senaji played the whole length of the match as Nyasa Big Bullets lost 0-1 to TP Mazembe in the first leg of the CAF Champions League second preliminary round at the Bingu National Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
As such, the Malawian side will have all to play for in the return leg on the last day of the month as they seek to make it to the group stage of the competition.
Cheick Fofana scored the only goal of the match early in the opening half to give the visitors a 1-goal advantage going into the second leg away in Lubumbashi on 30 September.
Senaji had to partner with Gomezgani Chirwa in central defence in a makeshift backline that had Precious Phiri deployed as a right-back due to three key players missing out due to injury.
