Song however noted that Tusker is a decent side but was adamant Arta Solar will proceed

Former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Alex Song who know plies his trade with Djiboutian outfit Arta Solar 7 is confident that the club will progress to the Second Round of the CAF Champions League at the expense of Kenyan champions Tusker FC.

Both sides have all to do in the second leg after a 1-1 draw at the El Hadj Hassan Gouled Stadium in Djibouti courtesy of goals from Tusker's new signing Ibrahim Joshua and former AS Monaco forward Alain Traore.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Song exuded confidence in Arta Solar pulling an upset and downing Tusker ahead of their Saturday 18 September clash at Nyayo National Stadium.

"It was a good game a good team, we know what happened in the first leg that we drew 1-1 and now we don't have a choice we have to have a good result if we want to go through,"

"We are 100% confident but football is football we play against a good team we know it will not be an easy game because they (Tusker) are a good team, we will play our football and be relaxed and see what will happen," said Song.

Arta Solar boast of an experienced squad that has former West Ham United midfielder Difra Sakho, former Espanyol custodian Carlos Kameni and Alain Traore but have no pedigree in CAF club competitions.

Song reiterated the important of the game not only to the club but the nation in general but was coy to share what he picked up from Tusker in the first leg.

"This is a very big game for Djibouti and the team because we need to proceed and we have to manage this game well in order to ensure that the team will be there in the next round,"

"I cannot really disclose the weak points we noted against them but we will work very hard because we know how they play and their weak points," added Song.
