Fabio Capello is a huge name in football, in general, and even more when it comes to Italian football. The former coach, whose last adventure was at Chinese side Jiangsu Suning, which he left in 2018, was one of the most important figures in the Serie A in the 1990s. Five-time Serie A winner (four with Milan and one with AS Roma), plus two that were revoked with Juventus, two league titles with Real Madrid ten years apart and a Champions League with Milan...

Capello offered his vision of the state of Italian football on the second day of the Marca Sports Weekend 2023 and talked especially about his a sort-of successor Carlo Ancelotti, who - just like Capello worked at Milan, Juve and Real Madrid with lots of success.
"He's the best of all! When you win in Spain, in Italy, in England, in France - it's because you know. Numbers are numbers. Madrid is not an easy team, you have to know things. The players, when you talk to them, they are perfectly aware and can guess if you know or don't know."
Talking about possible Ancelotti's move to the Brazil dugout, Capello said:
"Carlo has experience. He knows the languages and the language of football, which are two important things. When you go to another country you have to understand many things: what football is like that people want, how can I do things, know the languages... and I think Carlo can do everything very well. In my opinion, Carlo can work all over the world," concluded Capello.
