The two countries are set to meet in the return leg of a third and final round of the World Cup qualifiers on Sunday, 12 July at the Nyayo National Stadium from 1500 hrs.
Kenya head into the match with one leg in the World Cup, having secured a 2-0 win in the away fixture played in Pretoria, South Africa, on Saturday, 4 July.
Speaking ahead of the Nyayo Stadium showdown, Cheche attributed the team's success so far over the two rounds to the versatility of her players.
“Having a player who can literally play in any position is very good, and in our selection this year, that is what we were looking at—that we have players who can play more than two or three positions.
Faith Boke, for instance, can play at least four positions, and that is a plus for the team. Same as other players like Beverline (Awuor) and Brenda (Achieng). These are some of the players who can literally play more than three positions, and it's a plus for the team," said Cheche
The first leg win over South Africa follows a scoring draw in Uganda that saw Kenya qualify on the away goals rule, as well as an away win over Namibia, results Cheche believes are crucial to her team.

"At the beginning of this journey, it was pretty difficult. We knew that all countries were prepared. So playing against Namibia, we knew they were a tough opponent. We did not underrate them despite their previous results. So the girls did well away, getting two goals, while at home they played really well and got five.
So playing against Uganda, they were a very tough opponent because they had a great team. And then playing well away, I think that was something we worked very well with the team - that when going away, we need to secure at least a point or three points.
So I think that mentality that winning away is possible has worked really well for us. In football, anything is possible,” she remarked.
