Chelsea don't take no for an answer! The Madrid giants are persistent in rejecting offers, but the Blues keep increasing the amount
Chelsea have made numerous surprising and confusing moves in the transfer market, but this one could overshadow them all! The Blues had previously offered 40 million euros for the somewhat unknown Nigerian-descent Spanish-born forward Samu Omorodion, even though he didn't play a single minute at Atletico.
According to several sources from England, the Premier League side have sent a few more improved offers - none higher than 50 million - but Los Colchoneros rejected them all. However, Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly doesn't take no for an answer! Sources claim the next bid could amount to an insane 70 million?!

The English believe this offer could convince Atletico's management to sell the youngster, even though Diego Simeone considers him one of the leading players not only for the next season but for Atletico's future. In Madrid, they plan to extend Omorodion's contract - although the current one expires only in 2028 - but with much better conditions. The player's agent's only request is that the release clause is at most 120 million euros. Should that happen, Chelsea's 70 million won't be enough!
Omorodion started his career at Sevilla before moving to Granada, where he drew attention to himself in the B squad and became the U-19 Spanish international. At the beginning of last season, he scored the only goal in Granada's loss to Atletico 3-1, and that was enough to completely fascinate Simeone, who immediately requested his transfer to Madrid. Seven days later, Atletico bought him for 6 million euros and sent him on loan to Alaves straight away. There, he netted eight times in 34 appearances and hinted at his potential. Although Atletico need money, selling Omorodion is not an option. Not even for 70 million euros!
