Former Manchester United got an offer from Al-Nassr but turned it down
It still looks unbelievable that after 132 days, David De Gea is still without a club. January transfer window is just month and a half ahead, but the Premier and Europa League winner and two time Premier League Golden Glove winner is yet to sign for anybody. As a free agent, the Spaniard is eligible to sign a contract with any club at any time, but has failed to do so. And nobody knows why. Maybe he will tell everybody when he finally signs. There were numerous offers, but most of them were financially weak. On the other hand, De Gea is not keen to get the best financial deal for the sake of it, at least if The Sun is correct.

The British tabloid reports that the most recent offer for the Spaniard was to reunite with his Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr, but the player rejected it, even thou the amount was bigger than he expected - 500,000 pounds-a-week. Apparently, the sum was satisfactory for De Gea, but his wife Edurne, who said ‘yes’ in July, was not keen on the move. The next option is to join Ronaldo’s arch enemy’s club – Inter Miami. The Spanish speaking contingent is big in sunny Miami, with Lionel Messi and De Gea’s former international teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba already there, as well as coach Tata Martino. But, the money wouldn’t be so big there, as the USA budget works on different rules than European.
The third option is home. The Spanish clubs are interested in bringing De Gea back, and his wife would probably support this decision, but we go back to the first condition – money. Valencia and Real Betis are said to be keen on signing the Premier League winner though his wage demands decrease the likelihood of a deal being struck. But an interesting deal is also coming from Spain. There are reports that De Gea was contacted by the second La Liga team Eldense (currently 7th on the table), who offered him a contract, but vary of their financial ‘impotence’, they offered the Spanish keeper to take an ownership stake in the club as part of a potential deal. When will he decide about his next destination is up to De Gea.
