Dembele's 'one-man show' launches PSG past sturdy Brest

Considering that both Paris Saint-Germain and Brest participate in the UEFA Champions League (and will face each other in the play-offs), the French public expected fireworks in their Ligue 1 duel, and the rivals met the expectations altogether!

Even though Brest proved to be a tough nut to crack, Luis Enrique's men emerged triumphant 5-2, mainly thanks to Ousmane Dembele, who netted a hat-trick and practically beat the home team alone.

PSG were way better during the first half, but only one Dembele's goal separated the rivals at the break, even though Bradley Barcola was close to finding the net as well.

However, when Brest answered and levelled in the 50th minute over Romain Del Castillo, they woke up the beast, as former Barcelona winger completed a hat-trick, scoring in the 56th and 62nd minute. Yet Brest refused to give up and managed to reduce the gap once again, this time over Ludovic Ajorque, who scored in his fourth consecutive Ligue 1 match.

Eric Roy's men went after the equalizer, leaving too much space for PSG's counters, and were punished in the 89th and 97th minute, when Goncalo Ramos - who entered from the bench - scored a brace, making it 5-2.
