According to L'Equipe, the French boss is seriously thinking about dropping Antoine Griezmann out of the starting XI for the EURO 2024 semi-final

France has been pale if not even horrible in the previous five games at the European Championship, so Didier Deschamps needs to come up with a solution that would turn the things around for the semi-final battle against Spain on Tuesday.

However, the information coming from the French camp are quite awkward.

According to L'Equipe, Les Bleus' vice-captain Antoine Griezmann is set to be dropped out of the starting XI for that match!?

Apparently, in order to counter Spain's technical supremacy, Deschamps is thinking of leaving Griezmann on the bench. Just like the majority of his teammates, the 33-year-old player has hade a tournament to forget, but this decision would be more than surprising.

At the same time, Adrien Rabiot is expected to return to the squad after missing the quarter-final through suspension.

On the other hand, Spain's boss Luis de la Fuente won't be able to rely on centre-back Robin Le Normand, right-back Dani Carvajal, and striker Alvaro Morata, all three suspended.
