If they beat Lens on Wednesday, they'll secure their 14th domestic crown

Paris Saint-Germain moved another step closer to yet another Ligue 1 title after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Brest on Sunday night, with Desire Doue once again delivering the decisive moment.

The young attacker came off the bench to score the winner late in the second half, leaving PSG six points clear of Lens with only two matches remaining - including a potentially decisive showdown between the two sides on Wednesday.

With one eye clearly on the title run-in, Luis Enrique heavily rotated his side, keeping only Marquinhos and Fabian Ruiz in the starting XI from PSG's previous outing.

The hosts controlled possession from the opening whistle but initially lacked sharpness in the final third. The best opportunities before the break fell to midfielder Dro Fernandez, who saw one close-range effort saved before dragging another shot wide moments later.

PSG continued to dominate after the interval, though Brest remained dangerous on the counterattack, forcing impressive saves from goalkeeper Renato Marin in just his third appearance of the season. The Italian's standout moment came when he raced off his line to deny former PSG midfielder Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe from close range.

As frustration slowly grew inside the stadium, Luis Enrique responded by introducing his star attacking trio for the final half-hour, and eventually found the breakthrough his side needed.

After a frantic sequence of blocked efforts inside the Brest penalty area, Doue collected the loose ball on the edge of the box, powered past two defenders, and calmly fired into the bottom corner with ten minutes remaining.

The goal, scored during his 100th appearance for PSG, could prove enormous in the title race. PSG now head into Wednesday's clash with Lens knowing victory would all but secure a fourteenth French league crown.
