Lusaka Dynamos midfielder reveals transfer plans

Lusaka Dynamos and Harambee Stars midfielder Duncan Otieno is coy of his next move despite having two offers lying on his table.

Otieno controversially joined Dynamos at the start of the season from Nkana FC and could be on the move yet again should one of the two offers materialize.

The holding midfielder who returned to the country three days ago, revealed that two clubs had expressed interest in acquiring his signature thanks to his stellar displays with Dynamos.

However, the former AFC Leopards captain says the idea of parting ways with Dynamos whom he helped clinch the ABSA Cup had not crossed his mind but was open to leaving should the club agree to sell him.

"I have had a good season with Dynamos considering that we won the Domestic Cup and finished seventh in the league. We would have wanted to qualify for one of the continental inter club tournaments but we finished outside the top four. My performance has attracted two clubs outside the Zambian league but I still have a year left with Dynamos. If the interested parties agree then I can leave for greener pastures, " he said.

Meanwhile, with his former club set to tackle Gor Mahia in the Football Kenya Federation Cup, Otieno counseled Ingwe to avoid mistakes and take their chances if they are to grab the bragging rights.

Otieno who is rooting for Leopards to claw their bitter rivals also called on the players to embrace team work and maintain high levels of concentration.

" I think it is going to be a tough match as both teams have not been registering positive results consistently. However, for Leopards to win, they have to seal all loopholes and take their chances. A win will come easily of they attack and defend as a unit, " he added.
