Eden is The Man! Hazard becomes new EPL Hall of Famer

Reading Time: 2min | Wed. 29.10.25. | 19:45

A couple of days after Gary Neville, the Belgian, who left a gigantic mark at Chelsea, became the second Premier League Hall of Fame inductee for 2025, and 26th in total

Game over guys, thanks for playing. That's the message Gary Neville and Eden Hazard can send to the rest of the 2025 nominees for the Premier League Hall of Fame, as the Englishman and the Belgian have taken spots #25 and #26 and concluded this year's race.

The legendary Man United captain was chosen a couple of days ago, while the ex-Chelsea playmaker was inducted earlier today. This way, Hazard became the sixth former Blues player in the HoF after Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, Petr Cech, Ashley Cole, and John Terry.

At the same time, only Eric Cantona and Ian Wright are Hall of Fame members who played fewer games in England's top tier than the 34-year-old magician.

Either way, he won six trophies with Chelsea, including two Premier Leagues and two Europa Leagues. He was the EPL Player of the Season in the 2014/2015 campaign and the Blues Player of the Year twice.

Although he wore Lille and Real Madrid jerseys during his career, he spent his most glorious days in London. His campaign from ten years ago was one of the most memorable in the history of England's top flight.

In total, Hazard made 352 appearances for Chelsea and recorded 110 goals and 88 assists. And even though he wasn't among the favourites to be inducted now, he undoubtedly deserved to be chosen.

Way to go, Eden!
