Juma's seeks to jumpstart the newbies' doomed campaign.

Kenya Police FC will be seeking to bounce back to winning ways when they play troubled Vihiga Bullets who will be out to continue their search for their maiden Premier League victory when the two sides meet at Ruaraka Grounds on Tuesday afternoon as the FKFPL enters Round 12.

After grabbing an important point against AFC Leopards, Vihiga Bullets have gone back to their default settings this season, losing back to back against Ulinzi Stars and Sofapaka in an identical scoreline of 2-0.

Clifton Miheso will fancy scoring as many goals as possible to catch up with, and perhaps surpass, Kariobangi Sharks Felix Oluoch in the golden boot race, with only one goal separating the two at six and seven respectively ahead of Round 12.

In the National Super League last season, Police won in the first leg and the two shared the spoils in the second meeting, and this will be their first-ever Premier League meeting.

At the same time, Police will be out to continue their four-match unbeaten streak that has draws and wins in equal measures, two for each outcome.

This will be the second match pitting two sides that were promoted to the top tier this season, the first one being Talanta's 2-0 win over Vihiga Bullets in October.

After 11 games, the Abdallah Juma-coached side sits rock bottom with just two points collected from two draws, against Bidco United on the opening day and against Ingwe recently, losing a season-high of 9 games as it stands.

Against an experienced Police, chances are that this could be a routine loss for Bullets but perhaps the new year brings with it new things, and a win, for the newbies.

The match kicks off at 3 PM.
