Fallen Brest and ruthless PSG with mixed fortunes in Coupe de France

While the former lost to a fourth-tier side, the latter brushed aside the second-division team in brutal fashion

USL Dunkerque was an unknown second-division French side until this year's edition of the Coupe de France. However, after eliminating Lille, Auxerre and, finally, Brest, they deserve the label of 'the serial killers of Ligue 1 slots'.

The Ligue 2 outfit made it to the semi-finals following a shocking 3-2 away win on Wednesday night against the Champions League side. What makes this result even more awkward is the fact Dunkerque managed to come from behind after trailing 2-0 in the 60th minute!

The team from the north of France bounced back and directed a sensational comeback for the massive upset and their greatest achievement in the last 96 years.

Meanwhile, unlike their recent UCL rival, Paris Saint-Germain couldn't be bothered by those lower-league contenders, as they stormed to another 7-0 victory. First, it was Brest in the Champions League, and now the time has come for the fourth-tier minnows Briochin.

The game was decided during a 17-minute second-half blitzkrieg when the underdogs conceded four goals. Pretty much the same like poor Brest more than a week ago.

Goncalo Ramos scored a hat-trick, and given the scoreline, Luis Enrique could allow some of his key players a breather as Neves, Hakimi and Kvaratskhelia exited the pitch in preparation for PSG's upcoming fixtures.
