consequently, he was a hot cake in the summer transfer window but it was Gor who had the last laugh after edging out the rest of the suitors in the race to win his signature in September last year.

Hardly two months after ditching Western Stima for Gor, Omalla was handed his Harambee Stars first call for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier double against Comoros held last year in November.
He made his debut in the Caf Champions League against Rwandese giants APR in the preliminary round of the competition and was part of the Rising Stars team which reached the semi finals of the Cecafa championship last year.

Despite returning to Kisumu Day High School to focus on his exams which are set to get underway in the final week of the month, Omalla has confirmed to have received an offer from Sweden.
"The club has been chasing me for some time but in the meantime, I am focused on writing my exams first. I have a lengthy contract with Gor and will make a decision once I finish school," he disclosed.
Meanwhile Omalla revealed that he was keeping fit under the eye of former Kisumu All Stars head coach Andrew Aroka. He also thanked Gor physical trainer Hamisi Musa for keeping a close eye on his progress as far as fitness levels are concerned.
"As much as I am fully concentrating on passing my exams, I always train daily under coach Aroka. The online training regime from Gor has also come in handy," he added
