FC Talanta unveil sixteen players ahead of the new season

The club lost some keyplayers to deep-pocketed opponents

Football Kenya Federation Premier League side FC Talanta have unveiled their sixteen new players ahead of their second season in the country's top inter-club competition.

Talanta, were forced to beef up their squad after losing scores of players who left for greener pastures while others were deemed surplus to requirement.

Among the players who left the club after starring in the previous season include forward Francis Kahiro who joined KCB, the duo of Michael Bodo and Thomas Wainaina who left for Bidco United.

Coach Kenneth Kenyatta, brought in a cocktail of players comprised of both young and experienced players who are expected to first, represent the club's sponsor, the Communication Authority of Kenya in the KECOSO Games and in the league.

Some of the upcoming players the club signed include the duo of Alphric Alango, Henry Obala who were headhunted from Liberty Academy that is famed for nurturing exciting talents.

Kenyatta also raided Zetech Titans for the services of Song Inzoka and George Onyango who are expected to make their debuts at the top flight next season.

The seasoned tactician also acquired players from second tier clubs including Clinton Okoth who netted more than fifteen goals for Migori Youth last season.

Elisha Owino joined Talanta from Kisumu All Stars while former national U20 attacking midfielder Chris Owino returns to the club after two years.
