Firat blames referees, and what is Haaland's and Odegaard's excuse for slacking with the national team?!

Imagine having those two on your team and being miles away from any major tournament in years. Unbelievable
There's not a single tactician out there in the world who would be dissatisfied with having Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard in his team. With two such amazing players in the squad, the success should be almost guaranteed.
However, this is not the case with Norway, which still finds it almost impossible to qualify for any major tournament despite the firepower in the attack.
They missed the Euro 2020, World Cup in Qatar and, finally, Euro 2024 - all three big tournaments in the last few years although the Manchester City striker and the Arsenal playmaker were in the national team.

That's why the criticism towards the duo, especially to Haaland, is rising with every new day in their homeland. It reached its peak recently after a pale 0-0 away draw at Kazakhstan in the UEFA Nations League.
Tonight's game at home against Austria is a chance for redemption. At least, a little one...
"We have world-class players, but unfortunately Erling Haaland was now far below that level," stated Egil Olsen, the former Norway coach in two separate stints, after the Kazakhstan tie. "This was probably one of the worst Haaland displays I've ever seen. Martin Odegaard knew how to shine at times, but we have seen better games from him as well. One point from this match is a poor performance. However, the other teams in the group will not easily win against Kazakhstan either."
Haaland is 24, and has already collected 33 appearances for the Vikings. He has scored as many as 31 goals, but mostly against national teams such as Gibraltar, Armenia, Cyprus...
