FKF DIV: Equity, Fortune Sacco brawl highlight weekend action

Football Kenya Federation Division One league enters round two on Saturday with five matches lined up across various venues in the country.

The highlight of the day will feature last seasons' promotion favorites Equity FC go head to head with Fortune Sacco at the Stima Club.

Prior to the match, the bankers are on a pathetic run of seven matches without a win extending to the previous season.

Sacco, started the season on high seeing apart debutants Simba Apparel 4-0 and will be seeking to build on the good start on Saturday.

Elsewhere, after missing opening day action Zetech Titans and Olympic Pirates are back on the ring with the varsity boys entertaining Pirates at the Jacaranda 11 Ground, Ruiru.

Both outfits were actively involved in the transfer window bolstering their sides that lost quite a considerate number of players to second tier clubs and some top-flight teams.

Heading into the match, they boast of a weak defensive record that has Zetech fail to keep a clean sheet in five matches as well as Olympic who are now on a stretch of seven games conceding.

NSL: Four matches lined up on Saturday

In Zone B, Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) start their season away to league newbies Kiminini Combined in a match slated for Ndura Sports Complex, Kitale.

In other matches, GFE 105 settle scores against the visiting APS Bomet at Eldoret Showground while St. Jospeh's complete third tier weekend action with a stern Muhoroni Young test at Afraha C Grounds.
