Football Kenya Federation Division One action is set to continue on Wednesday afternoon with a rescheduled weekend matchup pitting 15th placed Kenya Navy against Kibera United at the Kimaru Stadium.

Prior to the match, the Evans Amukowa instructed Navy have had a rough initiation to the campaign despite bringing in big names during the off-season player registration window, and are winless collecting a single point in the opening two encounters of the season.
On the hand, under the tutelage of Godfery Shaban, Kibera have managed to turn the season around despite suffering defeat on the first day of the season to the high flying Ruiru Hot Stars and will seeking to build on the previous weekend 1-0 victory against the varsity boys Zetech Titans as they mount an important promotion race.

We are confident in them getting all the maximum points over their stay there and hopefully ignite our journey to the National Super League,” stated the club boss.
The two sides that are in their second season in the third tier, have previously met twice with each side grabbing a win in one occasion.
A win for the military side (Navy) that is under the captaincy of former Ulinzi Stars fullback Omar Mbongi will lift the club to tenth on the standings and out of the relegation zone whereas triumph for the slum boys will move them to second on the league standings demanding the number of goals they will fire between the sticks.
