14 players from eight FKFPL clubs are facing suspension if they get booked this weekend

Four players are suspended ahead of matchday 19 while a set of FKF PL clubs are poised to miss some of their key players in match day 18 if they are booked this week.

Nairobi City Stars' Erick Ombija and Sven Yidah alongside AFC Leopards' Isaac Kipyegon and Sofapaka's custodian Aigba Moubarak will miss their respective matches this weekend following red cards.

Ombija was given his marching orders against Gor Mahia and will be serving his second match suspended against Kariobangi Sharks while Yidah was dismissed against Sofapaka after being shown a second yellow in the game.

Kipyegon was sent off in the second half against Posta Rangers and will be serving his second game suspension also after missing in the 1-0 win against Mathare United.

14 players are on four yellow cards and a booking this weekend will mean that they serve a one-match suspension for accumulating five yellow cards.

Kariobangi Sharks is the most affected club with three players risking suspension when they play Nairobi City Stars this weekend. Patillah Omotto picked a yellow card against Ulinzi stars and joins Boniface Onyango and Shaphan Oyugi on the list of players with four yellow cards.

Ulinzi Stars, Tusker, Western Stima, and Vihiga United all have two players each on 4 yellow cards.

Midfielders John Kago and Benard Ongoma are the players on the brink of suspension for Ulinzi Stars while Hashim Sempala and Kevin Monyi are on the list for Tusker.

Vihiga United’s Dennis Wafula and Adeyefa Junior are also one booking away from suspension with Patrick Otieno and Mukisa Junior being on that list for Western Stima.

Sofapaka's Ambrose Sifuna, Wazito's Benard Ochieng', and Nzoia’s Dennis Wanjala complete the list of players treading on dangerous grounds.

This season, a total of 10 players in the league have already served a suspension after accumulating 5 yellow cards.
