The Mailmen, after struggling for the better part of the year, are now on a run of four games without defeat in all competitions
Jackson Macharia kept up his recent hot form, as his brace helped Posta Rangers secure their second win of 2026, edging hosts Kariobangi Sharks 2-1 at the Police Sacco Grounds in Nairobi on Sunday, 22 March.

Macharia, who was also on target as the Mailmen secured their first win in 11 FKF Premier League matches on 13 March, opened his side’s account two minutes after the half-hour mark, when he slotted home a Caleb Olilo cutback, from what was a swift counter-attack.
The 31-year-old marked his double later in the second half, when he again fed off a fine delivery from Olilo in a corner routine to make the score 2-0.

The two goals marked the midfielder’s growing impact at the club he rejoined in January this year, making them the third and fourth strikes in the team’s last three Premier League matches.
Macharia, who returned to the club after serving some time out in free-agency, was also on strike on 5 March, when Posta held league leaders Gor Mahia 1-1 at Nyayo Stadium.
His productive return has also coincided with Posta’s upturn in form, as after failing to win for the better part of the year, are now unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions, and momentarily up to 11th on the standings with 31 points.
Sharks, on the other hand, failed to build on their away victory over Shabana last weekend, as their losses this season went into double digits.

The only positive for them on Sunday was that the sensational Humphrey Aroko found the net once again, scoring his side’s consolation in the 71st minute to take his tally this season to eight goals.
After a mini-resurgence, which had seen them go on a five-match unbeaten run beginning late January, William Muluya’s side remain in 14th place, four points clear of the relegation zone.
