League leaders AFC Leopards will face Tusker in a title chasing clash, Ulinzi will take on Nairobi United while Kariobangi Sharks will take their relegation fight to the door steps of Posta Rangers.

Ahead of today's matches, Leopards are at the summit of the league table with 27 points, one more than their arch-rivals Gor Mahia with Kakamega Homeboyz closing the top three with 24 points.

At the other end of the table, Kariobangi Sharks are bottom with 12 points and are joined in the relegation zone by Sofapaka and APS Bomet, both with 14 points.

Shabana vs Gor Mahia.

Shaban play host to Kenyan giants Gor Mahia at the Gusii Stadium from 1400 hrs in what is the biggest highlight of match week 11.

The match has been in the headlines throughout the festive season with controversy surrounding the venue.

FKF had reportedly scheduled the match for Kasarani Stadium, a matter that Shabana protested profusely, noting that their home is Gusii and thus cannot host Gor at Kasarani which is one of K’Ogalo’s listed home grounds.

In the end, The Glamour Boys had their way amid a set of strict safety and security measures set out by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) in collaboration with security agencies at Gusii.

All this is with an aim to avoid the chaos that marred the fixture in May 2025 that left scores injured.

On the field of play, Gor Mahia will be eyeing a win that would take them to the top of the league table, at least before Leopards play Tusker.

K’Ogalo are on a mission to avoid last season’s dismal performance that saw the club end the season without a trophy. This season has even higher stakes as Leopards are rejuvenated and also chasing the title.

For Shabana, they will be out to improve from their current fifth position and get back to winning ways after losing 3-1 to Nairobi United in their first match of the season.

Since their return to top flight football in 2023, Shabana are yet to beat Gor Mahia. The 21-time record league champions have won three of their four encounters with the other match ending in a draw.

Tusker vs AFC Leopards

Kenyan giants Tusker FC and AFC Leopards will lock horns at the Nyayo National Stadium from 1600 hrs in the other big match of the day and that will affect the title race.

Leopards head into the match as league leaders having returned to top with a 2-0 victory over Nairobi United in midweek.

Ingwe have not shied away from announcing their bottle ambitions this season with coach Fred Ambani stating that they are eyeing nothing short of ending their 28-year wait for the much coveted league title.

They face a Tusker side that has not played this year and are coming on the back of a 1-0 victory over APS Bomet in their last match.

Sitting fourth on the log with 24 points, a win for Tusker will see them go level on points with Leopards even as they eye their 13th league title.

Ulinzi Stars vs Nairobi United

At the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang’ata, military side Ulinzi Stars will square it out with Nairobi United in a match scheduled for 1500 hrs.

Ulinzi are 14th in the log but will be encouraged with the fact that they ended a four-match winless run with a rampant 3-0 victory over Posta Rangers in their last match with the league’s top scorer Paul Okoth grabbing a hat-trick.

Naibois on the other hand suffered a 2-0 loss to Leopards in midweek and will be out to make their return to winning ways even as they officially mark their first match without head coach Nicholas Muyoti who is reportedly heading to Police FC as an assistant coach.

Posta Rangers vs Kariobangi Sharks

Posta Rangers will tussle with relegation-threatened Kariobangi Sharks at the Kasarani Annex from 1400 hrs.

Posta are ninth on the log and will be looking to return to winning ways and improve their standings at the expense of Sharks who are bottom of the league.

Sharks must secure a win if they are to have a chance of retaining their league status next season.
