AFC Leopards mounted a late-spirited fight, but it was a little too late in the day as Nairobi City Stars handed them a resounding 3-2 defeat on Saturday.

Ingwe have only picked up a win in ten outings, and despite changing coaches—rehiring Czech coach Tomas Trucha, who has now overseen three games—the results are still not coming.

Though out of the red zone for now, the 12-time Kenyan champions are hanging precariously in the table standings at position 15 with 8 points, the same as Muhoroni Youth.

Shabana is equally beset with poor results as fans' patience grows thinner with each passing day.

Tore Bobe were in Mombasa on Sunday, but instead of enjoying raha as it should be for the visitors of the coastal region, it was karaha for them after going down 2-1 to Bandari FC.

Angered and dejected, the fans held the players hostage for a moment after the game played at Mbaraki Stadium, demanding answers.

Like the Leopards, Shabana have only won a game in ten fixtures and are second from bottom with a paltry seven points.

The team is reportedly hunting for a new coach, with Francis Baraza, the immediate former Police FC coach, being the frontrunner.

Also on the same boat is Sofapaka, which placed rock bottom after going down 3-0 to FC Talanta.

The Batoto Ba Mungu inflicted a similar defeat on KCB during the midweek games and were largely expected to sustain the good result, but the coach Ken Kenyatta side proved a handful.

On the contrary, Murang'a Seal are having a blissful first season in the league so far.

With six wins so far, Seal are joint second on the table alongside Gor Mahia with 20 points each.

The coach's Gabriel "Kingi" Njoroge side pipped a staggering Tusker FC 2-1 to continue their impressive run in the league.

They will next face Gor Mahia on Saturday in a potentially explosive game whose outcome could see either team go to the top of the table.

The weekend's biggest fixture, Gor Mahia versus Police FC, did not live up to its billing, ending in a barren draw.
