We've seen more than a few transfer moves from Europe to Saudi Arabia, but it was those veterans and experienced players who had decided to jump on that lucrative bandwagon.

However, it seems like the era has begun, as even teenagers are now opting for that move.

According to Spanish media, Barcelona have reached an agreement with Al-Ittihad for their 20-year-old prodigy Unai Hernandez. One of the most talented La Masia products will leave the club for the Saudi Pro League side.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims the deal will be worth €4.5m to Barcelona, with a potential €0.5m further in add-ons available. The Blaugrana will also retain a sell-on clause for the talented forward.

After just a handful of first-team appearances in friendlies exclusively, Hernandez became frustrated and Al-Ittihad used those circumstances to approach him and offer a lucrative deal. The Saudi technical secretary is Ramon Planes, who had previously held the same position in Barcelona and is probably well aware of Hernandez's qualities.

At the same time, another Barcelona talent, Pau Prim, is closing in on a move to Qatar.

The new era has definitely started and we must say it doesn't look good at all.
