Nandwa confirms that he is in talks with Soy United.
Former Harambee Stars coach James Nandwa has confirmed that he is in talks with National Super League club, Soy United over a possible move to the club.
United are currently without a coach after Samuel Twago left the club for Vihiga United where he will once again work under Mike Mururi as an assistant coach.
Nandwa has now confirmed that he is in talks with the Uasin Gishu based National Super League newbies over a possible move to the struggling club.
“I have not joined them yet. We are in talks and if everything goes on well then I will sign my contract and start the job immediately. I have some personal issues that I am currently attending and after that, we will see how everything goes, if the talks will be positive then I will become the new Soy United head coach,” Nandwa told Mozzart Sport.

Earlier this season, the soft-spoken tactician was linked with a move to FKF Premier League side, Nzoia Sugar but the move failed to materialize as the job was handed to former Kenyan international, Ibrahim Shikanda.
Nandwa has previously coached Sony Sugar, Posta Rangers, Kakamega Homeboyz, Tusker FC, Thika United, Sher Karuturi, AFC Leopards, Kangemi All-Stars among other teams. He has also handled the national team both as head coach and assistant coach. In 2013 he led AFC Leopards to the GOTV Shield title.
