Mathare are yet to win a game under the stewardship of Frank Ouna
Mathare United coach Frank Ouna is not perturbed by Mathare's position on the league table with 14 rounds of matches to play.
Despite lying flat at the bottom with only eight points, Ouna has insisted that he will only be worried if they are at the same position with three or four matches left to play but at the moment that is not bothering him.
He is also confident that they will get themselves out of the bottom by the end of the season.
“I am not worried. Probably I will get worried when we are in the same place and have three or four matches left to play. I am the driver and if I panic then it means the whole bus or ship will sink. Keine Angst Keine Panik, we will get ourselves out of this situation,” the former Wazito tactician said.

The former Gor Mahia assistant coach also said that they are continuing to work even on the players' psyche to safeguard their confidence now that they have gone for a while without winning, which could greatly affect the players mentally.
They have gone for 11 games without recording a win, eight of those being losses with the last win coming against Nzoia Sugar early in February.
“When a team is not winning it affects the players’ psyche and that can be seen when a player gets presented with a golden chance to score and can’t manage to do so. This is something that we continue to work on as a team. Getting the players ready mentally is key to every battle." Ouna mentioned.

Ouna is also upbeat that the only piece left to the puzzle at Mathare is for them to start collecting points, saying that they have improved defensively and teams are finding it hard to play against them.
“How we respond when presented with those chances in games is what will define us in the coming matches. We have slightly managed to improve defensively and teams are finding it hard to blow us out. We just now have to find this balance on the opposite end,” he added.
This was evident in the identical 1-0 losses to Kenya's most successful clubs Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards, with the goal in the match against Gor being a Lennox Ogutu own goal.
Mathare next play KCB on Saturday, which also happened to be the team that Mathare played in Ouna's first match in charge.
