A somewhat strange statement by the Brazilian regarding the continuation of his career
Real Madrid was a massive challenge for young Endrick when he arrived from Palmeiras under the bright lights of the biggest club in the world. He went out on loan to Lyon this winter, where he also faced criticism—but then, all of a sudden, everything fell into place.
Toward the end of the season in France, Endrick has recorded eight goals and seven assists in Lyon’s shirt, and now there is growing speculation about whether the Brazilian might stay at the club next season. When asked about it, Endrick gave a very interesting answer:
“I'll do whatever God tells me to do, whatever my wife tells me to do. If I have to stay at Lyon, I'll be happy to do so. If I have to go back to Real Madrid, I will. If Real wants to send me somewhere else, I’ll go. But it’s God’s decision that will tell me what I should do” said Endrick.
The Brazilian continued in the same tone: “Coming to Lyon is one of the best decisions of my life. I thank God every day for it, because I joined a club that welcomed me warmly. So, if it’s God’s will for me to go to the World Cup, I’ll be grateful to Lyon for that,” Endrick emphasized.
🗣️ Endrick: “My future? I’ll do what God tells me to do, whether it’s staying at Lyon, returning to Real Madrid, or going elsewhere.

The young striker is only 19 years old and has his entire career ahead of him. He came through at Palmeiras, which sold him to Real Madrid in July 2024 for 60 milion euros.
