Ambitious Green Commandos attacking midfielder Price Musebe is hoping that offers from top flight clubs will flock in the next transfer window as he seeks to grace the highest inter-club football competition in the country starting next season.

The creative midfielder who has helped the Division One, Zone B side remain on course to gain promotion to the second tier revealed his plans of scaling two staircases in his career and get to showcase his talent at the top level.

Musebe who considers Kariobangi Sharks midfielder Patilah Omoto as his role model joined Commandos in 2017 after clearing his Primary School studies at Changamwe and despite writing his form four exams two years ago, he still attached to the outfit.

However, the youngster, feels he is ripe to run shoulders with the best in the top tier and expressed optimism that his videos, that have been doing rounds on social media will earn him the opportunity to try his luck with the top clubs, with Sharks, Bandari and Nairobi City Stars being his preferred choices.

"I feel I have come of age and time is right to play in the top level beginning next season. I have been sharing my videos with potential suitors and hopefully, I will either get offers or the chance for trials. Given the chance, I am certain that things will work out as planned, " he said.

Although the budding player firmly believes that he will play in the top flight, he says his ultimate goal is to turn professional in the near future with Europe being his best pick.

" If I get a chance to play in our league, I believe two seasons will be enough to market me out there. It is my dream to play abroad and hopefully, the chance will present itself. Before then, I will continue working hard and observe the counsel from my seniors," he stated.

In the meantime, Musebe tipped Commandos who are under the tutelage of Ramadhan Balala to gain promotion to the second tier at the end of the season.

Commandos were axed from the Super League in July 2019 alongside the defunct Thika United and Kangemi United.
