Nico Williams is - no dilemma there - one of the most sought-after players in the ongoing transfer window.
Bayern Munich are the latest European powerhouse to show a transfer interest in Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams, as Vincent Kompany is assessing his options as he looks set to miss out to Liverpool in the race for Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz.
However, Mikel Arteta is also planning to strengthen Arsenal's attack. Therefore, Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi is already on the verge of joining the Gunners, but Arteta is also ready to activate Williams' release clause in the current transfer window.
The Spain international has been a long-term target for Arteta. The forward of African origins has not already made up his mind on a possible move to North London. With Zubimendi being the priority for the Gunners at this point, the Bavarians could maybe snatch Williams. The race is on...
