Moraa joined the Bankers in September 2024 on a season-long deal from Tanzanian outfit Yanga Princess, where she had equally spent a season.

While the club expressed interest and desire to retain her services, the former Vihiga Queens winger opted not to extend her stay with the NBE and instead chose to seek a new challenge.

Moraa, who was impressive during her time with the club, is believed to have attracted interest from clubs in Kenya, Egypt and Europe, where she prefers to play.

The Kenya international was one of the star performers in the Egyptian Women's Premier League, finding the back of the net 27 times in 25 league games.

For her efforts, she managed to be the second highest goal scorer and helped her side finish fifth on the log, with FC Masar winning the title.

Speaking to Citizen TV after the end of the season, Moraa expressed her delight in her season's achievement, noting that it will have a positive impact.

“My performance has been top. Finishing as the second top scorer, one shy of the Golden Boot winner, is a great achievement and one that will boost my career," said Moraa.

The 29-year-old's coach, Mohammed Kamal, praised and acknowledged that there are many such quality players in Kenya amid rumours of Moraa’s departure then.

“She (Moraa) always wants to play, fight and help the team. She is a good player, and I believe there are many such players in Kenya,” said Kamal.

In what might be seen as preparation for life after Moraa, NBE and coach Kamal acted on his words and signed Harambee Starlets forward Stella Adhiambo.

Adhiambo joined NBE from FKF Women's Cup champions Kibera Soccer Women in mid-July and will be expected to keep the high standards set by her compatriot.
