He suffered a right thigh injury, but some further tests should be done
Barcelona have announced that their star midfielder Pedri will be out until October after picking up an injury in training on Thursday.
He apparently suffered a right thigh injury, one that looks set to keep him out of action for a month at least, albeit the club says there are further tests yet to be done. This means that the brilliant creative midfielder will not only miss games in La Liga but also at least the opening round of the Champions League.
Pedri is injured? Time for Gavi to step up.

We know Pedri is in a universe of his own; at this tender age he is already among the best midfielders on the planet. His absence is devastating.
But we also have Gavi, the golden boy.

Pedri is a key player for Xavi and started both of the La Liga games that Barcelona have played so far. The Blaugrana seriously struggle for goals and creativity without him.
Aleix Garrido could be the perfect Pedri’s replacement who is injured.

He joins Ronald Araujo on the list of injured players, although the Uruguayan is on his way back to fitness and should be back out on the pitch training within a week.
