Dean Huijsen finally in the Royal Club's jersey

Real Madrid has officially introduced their latest acquisition, the highly-touted Dean Huijsen, a 50 millions talent, just in time for the upcoming Club World Cup.

The 20-year-old phenom, who joined the ranks of "Los Blancos" after they triggered his release clause from Bournemouth, will proudly wear the number 24 jersey. He's committed to a five-year tenure at the legendary Santiago Bernabeu.

Born in the Netherlands, this commanding defender honed his skills with their youth squads before choosing to represent Spain on the international stage. Huijsen marks the inaugural signing of the Xabi Alonso era at Real Madrid, with the club successfully fending off fierce competition from a host of Premier League powerhouses, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Newcastle, to secure his coveted signature.

'I've wanted to be here since day one. From the moment Real Madrid called, I didn't look at any other clubs,' Huijsen declared during his unveiling, an event graced by club president Florentino Perez and his family. "Real Madrid is the club of my life and I hope to stay here for many years," he added. When questioned about his interactions with new manager Alonso, Huijsen revealed: "Yes, just a little, about what he expects from me and I think these are going to be great years. I fit very well in Xabi's soccer, I'm going to try to help the team in every way I can."

In a parallel move, Madrid also secured Trent Alexander-Arnold, reportedly paying Liverpool a significant 10 millions fee to bring him in ahead of schedule for the Club World Cup, which commences this Saturday.

Huijsen was a standout performer in his sole season with Bournemouth, having joined the Cherries from Juventus for 12.6 millions last summer. His impressive contributions led to a nomination for the Premier League's Young Player of the Year award, and he played a pivotal role in helping Andoni Iraola's squad achieve a club-record points tally in the division. Despite drawing admiring glances from several top Premier League clubs, Madrid remained his clear preference.
