Omollo successfully retained the Coach of the Month accolade after overseeing a remarkable run that propelled APS Bomet to a comfortable mid-table finish in their maiden top-flight campaign.

The tactician guided Bomet to four victories and a draw from their five matches in May, collecting an impressive 13 points from a possible 15.

His side remained unbeaten throughout the month, a run that ultimately extended APS Bomet's streak to 11 consecutive league matches without defeat by the end of the season.

The impressive sequence saw the debutants finish 10th on the FKF Premier League table, comfortably surpassing expectations in their first season among Kenya's elite clubs.

At the other end, Okoth emerged as the standout performer in a tense relegation battle, producing a series of decisive displays that proved instrumental in Ulinzi Stars' successful fight for survival.

The lanky striker rediscovered his scoring touch at the most crucial stage of the campaign, with the Soldiers heavily entangled in the relegation dogfight.

The former Migori Youth and Kariobangi Sharks forward scored four goals during May, accounting for more than half of Ulinzi's seven goals in the period.

Significantly, all four strikes were match-winning goals, directly contributing to valuable points that ultimately secured Ulinzi Stars' Premier League status.

The military side survived on the final day of the season, finishing 13th with 41 points.

Okoth's late-season heroics also propelled him to a second-place finish in the league's scoring charts with 18 goals, just one behind 'Golden Boot' winner Joe Waithera, who finished as the league's top scorer with 19 goals.

The award marked Okoth's second Player of the Month honour of the season, having previously won the accolade in November 2025.

In addition to personalized trophies, Omollo received Ksh75,000 for his achievement, while Okoth pocketed Ksh50,000 as reward for his outstanding performances.
