Icardi called him The Crying One, so Mou's response was brutal

You don't mess with Jose Mourinho, as simple as that. Because if you do, better watch out, that man's got some serious tricks up his sleeve

Jose Mourinho never fails to remind us of his unique personality. The legendary tactician has engaged in another war, this time with Mauro Icardi.

The Fenerbahce boss sparked this war by taking to social media after Galatasaray's recent clash with Adana Demirspor was abandoned after Adana's players walked off the pitch after 30 minutes in protest at a controversial penalty decision.

He used a picture showing Galatasaray defender Davinson Sanchez handling the ball in the box during a game against Gaziantep last week. Despite that, a penalty was not given.

"In the Handball World Cup that ended last Sunday, Portugal brilliantly reached the semifinals, and I want to congratulate them for such an achievement and the impact they will have on our country's youth," Mourinho wrote.

Icardi responded on Instagram by using a 'crying one' meme, as a mocking reference to Mourinho's famous 'The Special One' quote. And did Mou fire back? Of course, he did.

He responded instantly and spectacularly on Wednesday in his pre-match press conference ahead of Fenerbahce's Europa League play-off first leg against Anderlecht on Thursday.

"I show I am a special one, not the special one. With 25 years of career and 26 titles and not with one match," Mourinho said.

"That is not one match to define my career. My career is 25 years.

"In relation to the comments of Icardi, Icardi is a GOAT and I refuse to comment on a GOAT's words. He is too big, I won't comment," concluded Mourinho.
