Marcelo Bielsa allegedly agrees on contract extraction with Leeds United. This will be his longest run at one club since he started his coaching career
Leeds United are closing a solid season in the Premier League. Now their sights are set on the renewal of Marcelo Bielsa, who allegedly said 'yes to this proposal. And that is some news since it's totally atypical for the Argentine coach to stay so long at one place.
Bielsa is a short-term guy as it gets, with all of his previous nine managerial stints (Newells Old Boys, Atlas, America, Velez Sarsfield, Espanyol, Athletic Bilbao, Marseille, Lazio, Lille) lasting two seasons or less.
According to The Telegraph, Bielsa is determined to extend his link with the club for one more season and reach three consecutive years at Eland Road.

He has a great relationship with the owner Andrea Radrizzani. However, it is still unknown when he will sign in Leeds United trust that the continuity of Marcelo Bielsa is guaranteed.
"I hope to extend it by the end of the season, and I think it is possible. There is a common will to continue, and so far, we have always gotten along well. We support Marcelo in his work, and I think I can say that he is satisfied with his relationships with the club's management. Hopefully, we can continue working together, "Radrizzani had assured a few weeks ago.
With two days remaining for closing the current Premier League, Leeds United is ranked 10th, with a minimal illusion of qualifying for the Europa Conference League.
