Wanyama and Otieno bagged a brace, as Makwata and Omune scored a goal a-piece

AFC Leopards saw of National Super League side Dandora Love 6-1 in a friendly match played at Camp Toyoyo on Thursday.

In the absence of top-flight action this weekend due to the FIFA international break, and with Kenya not taking part in that, Football Kenya Federation Premier League clubs are keeping themselves buy with friendly matches amongst themselves or against opponents from the other leagues in the country.

Maxwell Otieno and Brian Wanyama scored a brace each for AFC Leopards as John Makwata and Victor Omune grabbed a goal each to hand Dandora Love the heavy defeat in the match.

Makwata was fresh from scoring the equalizer in Ingwe's latest league match against Kenya Police, his parent club, and will be hoping he can continue the scoring touch when league action resumes in April.

The last time Ingwe won by a margin of more than two goals in the league was in December 2020 in the 3-0 win against Sofapaka and had done so again last in January the same year when they beat Zoo 4-1 with Makwata hitting a hattrick in that game.

Ingwe have not been so prolific in front of goal this season and have managed to score only 23 goals after 22 rounds of matches, averaging a goal per match and outscoring only five teams in the league.
