No worries, we're not having a stroke...

The weirdest headline you've ever seen? Probably.

We're thinking the same, but the word about this tiny football club of a gigantic, unique name needs to be spread across the globe, Africa included.

This is the North Wales Coast West Division One side, which officially boasts the longest name in world football.

Repeat after us... Clwb Pêl Droed Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch Football Club. A piece of cake, init?

Thankfully, there's a shorter version of it - CPD Llanfairpwll FC.

They came under the spotlight on Wednesday upon signing a partnership with the Spanish La Liga, one of the world's most followed football leagues. La Liga's logo, along with the message "The Power of Our Futbol", will be seen on the club's home and away shirts.

The premiere will be on Saturday's game as CPD Llanfairpwll FC take on Holyhead Town FC.

CPD Llanfairpwll FC will be celebrating their 125th anniversary in 2024.

Talking about this interesting partnership, their top goalscorer, Marquis Holland, said:

"Playing with LALIGA across the front of our shirts will certainly give us an extra boost this season. We're already watching a lot more Spanish football this season and look forward to learning something from the likes of Lewandowski, Griezmann and Bellingham."
