The forward acknowledges the team's solid start to hard work and positive attitude in camp.
Murang'a Seal forward Cornelius Juma is working towards more playing time when league action resumes after the international break.
Juma, who changed sides during the transfer window, joining Murang'a Seal from Shabana after a short stint with the Kisii-based side, has found playing time hard to come his way.
However, the former National Super League top scorer, who has largely been an unused substitute, says he has been working hard in training in a bid to get more minutes under his feet.
"I have not had enough playing time since I joined the team, but this has been attributed to healthy competition in the team. I understand my capabilities, potential, and experience are key to steering the team forward. The international break came in handy at the right time, and I have largely been using the period to work on my shortcomings in order to get more playing time when action resumes," he said
The newbies are having a dream start into their maiden season at the topflight, which has seen the Murang'a-based team positioned third on the log and four points off table-toppers Posta Rangers.
Juma acknowledges the team's solid start, hard work, and positive attitude in camp.
"We got no secret but just hard work during training sessions and on matchdays. We always strive to give our best in order to get maximum points from our encounters. There is positive belief in the squad, which has made us able to handle the matches way efficiently," the forward added.
The Gabriel Njoroge-coached side will take on Bidco United on Saturday, and Juma says he is looking forward to playing a role should he be granted the opportunity on Saturday.
"We have a tough away fixture on Saturday, but we are ready to take on our opponents. I have had limited playing time, but I am really eager for more, and should the coach grant me an opportunity on Sunday, I hope to play a role in helping the team make it three wins in a row," he concluded.
