The legendary Spanish goalkeeper could end up between the posts for the Turin side instead of Alisson Becker
Reports from Wednesday suggest that Juventus’ pursuit of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is becoming increasingly difficult, prompting the Italian giants to consider an alternative in Fiorentina’s David De Gea, the former Manchester United star.
The Bianconeri are expected to make changes in their goalkeeping department this summer, with at least one of Mattia Perin or Michele Di Gregorio likely to move on.
🚨🇪🇸 David De Gea’s chances are rising again due to the Alisson track becoming more difficult due to an €8M salary demand, as per @tuttosport.

For weeks, Juventus have been monitoring Alisson, who is set to enter the final year of his contract at Anfield this summer and could be available if the right offer arrives. However, his salary poses a major obstacle, as he is reportedly on around €8 million per year plus bonuses, which would make him one of the club’s top earners.
On top of that, Liverpool would demand a transfer fee in the region of €15 million, along with additional signing-on costs, according to Tuttosport.
As a result, De Gea has emerged as a more realistic target. The Spanish goalkeeper currently earns around €3.5 million per season at Fiorentina, and the Tuscan club are reportedly open to a sale in order to ease their wage structure.

Tuttosport adds that Fiorentina could accept offers of around €10 million for the 68-time Serie A appearance-maker, who also enjoyed a decorated spell at Manchester United, where he won the club’s Player of the Year award on four occasions.
