The PSL side is eager to sell the Kenyan International who is still contracted to the club

South African top-tier side Kaizer Chiefs has all but confirmed that Kenyan International Anthony Akumu is no longer wanted at the club.

Amakhosi earlier today invited bids from any club that is eager to buy the former Gor Mahia and Zesco United midfielder.

The club is restructuring after a dismal performance in the recently concluded season. They parted ways with Stuart Baxter and appointed Arthur Zwane as the Head Coach.

The latter has since started cleaning the house with Zambian Lazarus Kambole being among the first to be shown the door. Others include talismanic Serbian striker Nurkovic Samir, Lebogang Manama, Daniel Cardoso, Kearyn Baccus, Leonardo Castro and Nigerian goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi.

Goalkeeper coach Lee Baxter has also parted ways with the club.
