
Kakamega Homeboyz whip Tusker as Shabana Police shares spoils

Two early goals helped Homeboyz win at Bukhungu.
Kakamega Homeboyz stunned 12-time champions Tusker FC 2-1 in an entertaining FKFPL match played at the Bukhungu Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Heading into the game, both teams were seeking maximum points after dropping points last time out. Homeboyz lost to Murang'a Seals by a solitary goal, while Tusker drew 1-1 with Kariobangi Sharks.
Three minutes into the game, Homeboyz went ahead through Ambrose Sifuna who made the most of sloppy defending from the Brewers.
As the Brewers tried to find their way back into the game, they conceded a second in the 17th minute. Kenyan international Moses Shumah rose high to head home a Kevin Amwayi cross.
Shumah and Amwayi both came close to adding to Homeboyz's tally before the break but were denied by Brain Bwire on Homeboyz goal.
Erick Zakayo pulled a goal back in the 72nd minute, but it was a case of a little too late.
Bandari 1-0 Ulinzi Stars
In Mombasa, Abdallah Hassan's goal from a free kick was all Bandari needed to beat Ulinzi Stars 1-0 and condemn them to a third defeat in a row. The Soldiers have lost all their games this season.
Nzoia Sugar 1-1 Bidco United
At Sudi Stadium in Bungoma, Nzoia Sugar FC and Bidco United played out to a one-all draw.
Daniel Wafula scored for a second consecutive game to give Nzoia Sugar FC a first half lead before Samuel Ndung'u found the back of the entire got a second game in a row as well to earn his side a point on the road.
Shabana 1-1 Kenya Police
In Homabay, two late goals saw Shabana and Kenya Police FC share points in a one-all draw. Peter Ogechi gave Shabana an 89th minute lead before Clinton Kinanga earned his side a point with a 94th minute leveller.
