The Turkish giant launched a full-scale offensive in the final stages of the January Transfer Window, all to finally dethrone Galatasaray and win the title after 12 years
After a massive conundrum and the alleged intervention of both Saudi and Turkish governments, the trade - speaking in NBA terms - between Fenerbahce and Al-Ittihad has been completed, as Youssef En-Nesyri became the new striker of the popular Tigers, while N'Golo Kante went in the opposite direction.
The Frenchman reportedly gave up 70% of his salary to join Fenerbahce, so he'll earn €7.5 million in Turkey instead of €20 million he had in Jeddah.
However, that is reportedly neither the end of the Turkish giants' transfer activity, nor their business with the Saudis.
The transfer window in Turkey ends in three days, and that's exactly how much time Fenerbahce have to fulfill another of their major wishes - Darwin Nunez!

The former Liverpool striker joined Al Hilal last August and recorded seven goals and five assists in 22 appearances. However, the blockbuster arrival of Karim Benzema puts the Uruguayan in a tricky position, as he'll hardly have sufficient playing time with the legendary Frenchman at the club.
So, the eventual move to Istanbul could be a win-win solution for both Fenerbahce and Nunez. The only problem could be the approaching transfer window deadline and the Turks' fight against the clock.
